Summer activities for indoor cats – so it won't get boring

In summer, cats also enjoy spending time in the shade or relaxing on cool tiles. But indoor cats shouldn't completely forgo activity—even in the heat, they need variety and little stimuli.

Cats adapt to different temperatures, but too little exercise can quickly lead to boredom or obesity. Therefore, it's worth incorporating small games into your daily routine.

🧶 Activity ideas for hot days:

  • Treat search with treats of your choice (e.g. Relax Drops)

  • Scratching posts or elevated places at shady windows

  • Boxes with cloths or newspaper as a discovery box

  • Fridge game: Cool a treat briefly and hide it

💡 Tip: Inactive phases are normal – plan play times in the early morning or evening.
